CRYSTLE LIGHTNING BORN—CREE ACTRESS/MUSICIAN/ACTIVIST
Born in Edmonton, Alberta, of the Enoch Cree Nation, Crystle began in show business when her family moved from Canada to Los Angeles. At age 9, Crystle landed her first lead role in the feature, 3 Ninjas. Her Film and Television appearances include: American Pie: Band Camp, Days of Our Lives, Southland, and most recently Yellowstone and Outlander. Crystle also tours with Hip Hop Supergroup LightningCloud–2014 Indigenous Music Award (IMA) Winner for Best New Artist and 2015 IMA Winner for Best Rap Album. She has contributed to the Adult Coloring Book industry with her Indigenous Legends Series and Moosebumpz: Scary Stories from the Rez. Recently, she was named series lead of Maggie in The Trickster for CBC—a role she has always wanted to play.
