GILLIAN WHITE BORN—ACTRESS OF BLACKFOOT DESCENT

Born in Los Angeles, California (CA), Gillian was raised in Altadena, CA. Of African-American, Blackfoot Indian and Irish descent, she was a star basketball player, Homecoming Queen, and honors student in high school. Gillian graduated from Howard University with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Communication. Her first breaks starring as LL Cool J’s lover in his music video Hey Lover and as Dr. Dre’s wife in Been There, Done That.” Moving to TV, Gillian played Cole’s girlfriend on the hit show Martin. She has had guest-starring roles in small films, soap operas (Days of Our Lives and The Young and The Restless), series (Martin, Arli$$, The Wayans Bros, My Wife and Kids, Ghost Whisperer, Xena: Warrior Princess, Sam & Cat, Oval, and Black-ish). On the big screen, she has starred in 2 movies with her husband, Michael Jai White, Never Back Down 3 and Take Back. She also starred in Netflix Universal Pictures’ action film Welcome To Sudden Death.
